We welcome all of our guests to come on-site Friday afternoon to say "howdy" and enjoy a Lone Star BBQ dinner with us in the evening! All guests are welcome to start arriving on-site at The Retreat as early as 1:00 PM on Friday. There will be activities available for those who want to be active, and there will be plenty of places to sit and chat for those who want to spend time visiting with each other! (Please see the "Q&A" page of this website for more information about the activities that will be available all weekend.) The cabin check-in time for guests staying on-site Friday evening is 3:00 PM. The wedding party will have their rehearsal at 5:15 PM. Then, dinner will be served for all guests at about 7:00 PM. A cash bar will be available during the evening. During the dinner, we will also have live music by Brian Hailey (Jen's brother) and his friend Alex Jacobsen! (Please RSVP for dinner so we can have an accurate count for food. And even if you are unable to RSVP to eat dinner with us, we still encourage you to join us on-site whenever you get into town on Friday!)

We encourage all of our guests to join us on-site at The Retreat for a variety of fun outdoor activities! Skeet shooting will be available from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, and archery will be available from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. The other "open" Retreat activities will continue to be available all weekend! (Please see the "Q&A" page of this website for a list of all the available activities.)

We welcome all of our guests to join us for lunch at The Retreat! Lunch will be served at the Thicket. The lunch menu includes steak and chicken fajitas, rice, beans, Southwest salad, and churros. (Note: this is a change from the original lunch menu on this website. We hope everyone will enjoy this new menu!) A cash bar will be available from noon until 3:00 PM. (Please RSVP if you want to eat lunch with us so we can have an accurate count for food.)

We encourage all guests to keep engaging in fun outdoor activities at The Retreat! Ziplining will be available at the Thicket from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM! (We recommend that guests start to head to their hotels/cabins during the 3:00 hour to get ready for the wedding ceremony.)

Please join us in the Rio Grande Hall for the main event: the wedding ceremony of Jen and Jake! (Recommended attire is cocktail dresses and suits. However, we primarily want all of our guests to feel comfortable! When selecting footwear, please remember that there will be a lot of walking on grass. And Jake would like all the men to know that he fully supports removing ties for comfort if desired!)

Please join us for cocktail hour after the wedding ceremony! There will be live jazz music, and a special animal guest just might be making an appearance. :)

Let's celebrate! The reception will be held in a tent set up at the soccer field. Dinner and drinks (hosted bar) will be served, and The Pictures Band will be playing live music! (Please RSVP for the reception.)

All guests are invited to join us for a "good-bye" brunch on Sunday! (Please RSVP so we have an accurate count for food.) For guests staying on-site in cabins, 11:00 AM is the check-out time. And don't forget to set your clocks forward an hour! (We apologize that losing sleep is no fun. But hey, just think of all the extra sunlight you will have on Sunday while traveling home and/or enjoying more of Texas!)
